Having practiced together since 1988, Howard Grossinger, Richard Gordon, and Mel Vatz have developed a reputation for providing detailed and ethical representation on a broad range of legal matters including personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal defense, dui / drunk driving, will and estate planning, family law and employment law. We have a long tradition of representing labor unions and their members in Pittsburgh and throughout Western Pennsylvania, and are proud to offer a discount on the legal services we provide to labor union members.

Howard Grossinger is a 1970 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Law School. He has devoted his career to labor law, and concentrates on the representation of labor unions and their fringe benefits funds. He has been a frequent lecturer and instructor on labor law topics.

Richard Gordon graduated from DePaul University Law School in 1974. Rich's broad practice includes labor and employment law, estate planning and administration, worker's compensation and family law. Rich is a former instructor at the University of Pittsburgh.

Mel Vatz obtained his undergraduate degree in 1973 from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Georgetown University in 1976. He practices criminal law and civil trial law in state and federal courts. His civil trial practice includes personal injury, workers' compensation and employment law. Mel has lectured on workers' compensation, employment law, and legal ethics.
